GREENCASTLE COMMON COUNCIL
EXECUTIVE SESSION
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2,1997 6:30 P.M. CITY HALL
The Greencastle Common Council met in Executive Session Thursday, October 2, 1997, 6:30
p.m. at City Hall. Mayor Michael called the meeting to order. On the Roll Call, the following
were found to be present: Councilor Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Baynard and
Councilor Masten. Councilor Green was absent. Also present was Attorney Zeiner, Bill Dory
and Street Commissioner Wright.
Real Estate acquisition was discussed. Attorney Zeiner presented appraisals for the Moose Lot
as follows:
® Paul Jackson $30,000.00
Ed Helmer $34,500.00
Average of appraisals is 532,250.00
After discussion, Councilor Masten stated that we should offer the Moose 525,000.00 for their
lot and Dick Brown 520,000.00 for his lot. Councilor Roach stated that he is not ready to move
on this issue. Attorney Zeiner stated that he will get an option, from both if possible, to bring
back to Council.
Being no further business, Councilor Hammer made the motion to adjourn, seconded by
