THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 405

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN THROUGH STREETS
AND FOR THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS AT
CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS; SPECIFYING
PARTICULAR INTERSECTIONS AS STOP
INTERSECTIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES
FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Stop Siqn Locations
When stop signs are erected and maintained giving notice thereof, drivers of
vehicles shall stop at the following intersections before entering any of the following
streets or portions of streets:
Rock Road
When entering eastbound from Central Park Avenue
Woodlawn Street
When entering westbound from Central Park Avenue

Section 2, Penaltv
The penalty for any person found guilty offailing to obey a stop sign shall be
provided in the Uniform Traffic Code as adopted by the City of Bel Aire.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication
in the official city newspaper.
Passed by the City Council this 18th day of November, 2003.
Approved by the Mayor this 18th day of November, 2003.
