AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.57 LARGE-SCALE DEVELOPMENTS,
TITLE 17 OF THE MOAB MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
That Chapter 17.57 Large-scale Developments, Title 17, of the Moab Municipal
Ordinances shall be amended to read as follows:
Sections:
17. 57.010 Intent
17.57.020 Permitted large-scale developments
17.57.010 Intent. The intent of this chapter is:
A. To provide for the construction of certain large-scale developments which will permit
increased flexibility in land development, increased efficiency in the use of land and a more
satisfactory living environment that can be obtained under traditional lot -by -lot development;
B. To establish minimum standards and procedure for the construction and maintenance
of such developments.
17.57.020 Permitted large-scale developments. The following large-scale developments shall be
permitted upon compliance with the regulations set forth herein, but only in the zones in which
such large-scale developments are specifically permitted:
A. Mobile home parks (see Chapter 15.36);
B. Recreational vehicle courts (see Chapter 15.36);
C. Planned unit developments or condominiums (see Chapter 17.66 of this title);
D. Mobile home subdivisions (see Chapter 15.36).
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
