Black Rock Enterprises, LLC $560,800.00 2, JAG Paving Corp. $597,875.00 3. Shmetop Construction $603,250.00 4. Halecon, Inc. $675,000.00 5, S. Brothers, Inc. $680,600.00 6. Picamo-Giordano Construction $695,512.50 WHEREAS, Black Enterprises, LLC, of Old Bridge, NJ has submitted the lowest bid for said contract as evidenced by the response on file with the Borough's Purchasing Department and with the Borough Engineer; and WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed the above bid proposals and has recommended the award of a contract to Black Rock Enterprises, LLC, in a total amount not to exceed $560,800.00, per attached award letter; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. However, the irregularities are minor in nature and do not affect the outcome of the bid. As a matter of procedure, our office has contacted Black Rock Enterprises, LLC to discuss their bid. The representative we spoke to indicated they are comfortable with the bid as submitted and there is no objection to completing the project based on the bid prices submitted and the contract time. Based on this information, we recommend the following actions: 1. Award of the contract to the low bidder, Black Rock Enterprises, LLC of 1316 Englishtown Road, Old Bridge, NJ 08857, within 60 calendar days, on a unit price basis in the total amount of $560,800.00 for base bid items 1 through 14 inclusive, as available funding permits.
