AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 1, "GENERAL PROVISIONS;
TRAFFIC AND PARIQNG REGULATIONS", OF CHAPTER 254 ENTITLED
"VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC" OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTE RET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret, a
municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, located in Middlesex County, thereof,
as follows:
Section 1. Article 1, of Chapter 254 of the Carteret Code entitled "Vehicles and
Traffic', Article I, General Provisions; Traffic and Parking Regulations is hereby
amended and supplemented to insert the following:
VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC
254-21. Schedule III: No Parking Certain Hours.

Virginia Avenue North During School Hours Post Blvd. to dead-end
254-22. Schedule IV: Limited Time Parking
Name of Street Side Time Limit Hours/Days Location
Virginia Avenue South 2 hours All Post Blvd. to dead end

Section 2. All Ordinances and/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to the extent of any such.
inconsistencies.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, part, clause or please of this Ordinance shall be
declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the section,
subsection, part, clause or phrase shall be deemed to be sever able from the remainder of
this Ordinance.
