RESOLUTION NO. 2016-11
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING SURPLUS PROPERTY
FROM THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle owns vehicles which are no longer needed or used by the City
of Greencastle;
WHEREAS, the Area 30 Career Center, a public educational institution, has a need for the surplus
vehicles for the purpose of instruction of students on vehicle repair; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle desires to transfer ownership of said vehicles to the Area 30
Career Center, pursuant to Indiana Code 36- 1 -11 -8;
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE hereby transfers
ownership of the following vehicles:
1. 2003 Ford Crown Vic 2FAFP71W73X169946
2. 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 1 D7HA 16K32J 169429
3. 1998 Ford Ranger 1FTYRI4U8WPA57199
Further, the Area 30 Career Center, acknowledges and the City of Greencastle hereby transfers the
property on the condition that the City makes no warranty whatsoever regarding the vehicles and Area 30
Career Center takes ownership to said vehicles "as is" and shall hold the City harmless for any liability
arising from this transfer of property.
