AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.36.020 OF CHAPTER 15.36, TITLE 15
OF THE MOAB MUNICIPAL ORDINANCES REGARDING FINANCIAL
CONDITIONS FOR PLACEMENT OF TEMPORARY DWELLING UNITS DURING
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
That Section 15.36.020 of Chapter 15.36, Title 15, of the Moab Municipal Ordinances
be and the same hereby amended and shall read as follows:
15.36.020 Conditions for placement. No occupied mobile home or
recreational vehicle shall hereafter be placed on a lot or be located in the city except
under the following conditions:
A. When temporarily located on a lot on which a building is being constructed,
but not to exceed one year; provided that a bond or mortgage on a recreational vehicle
in the amount of two hundred dollars or mobile home or other property in the amount
of five hundred dollars shall first be posted with the city, guaranteeing the removal of
the mobile home or recreational vehicle from the lot upon the completion of
construction of the building or at the end of one year from the placement on the lot,
whichever is the lesser of time.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
