APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT -
McMANIMON & SCOTLAND WITH REGARD TO BOND COUNSEL
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret was in need of specialized legal
services with regard to bond counsel services; and
WHEREAS, McManimon & Scotland possesses the requisite knowledge
and experience to provide said legal services; and
WHEREAS, McManimon & Scotland has submitted a proposal to provide
said bond counsel services to the Borough at a cost not to exceed
$5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will
be available for the payment of said professional legal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex State of New Jersey as follows:
1. The proposal from McManimon & Scotland to provide
bond counsel services in the above referenced matter not to
exceed an initial maximum cost of $5,000.00 is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made as a professional
services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)a. A notice of this
award shall be advertised as required by law.
