A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE ATTACHED AGREEMENT WITH POST
BUCKLEY SCHUH & JERNIGAN TO REPLACE THE
ASBESTOS CEMENT WATERLINE; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF KEY
BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached
Agreement, on behalf of the Village, with Post Buckley Schuh & Jernigan dated June 24, 2001.
Section 2. The Consultant shall provide Professional Services for Village of Key Biscayne
for the replacement of asbestos cement (AC) waterlines associated with the installation of the new
Sanitary Sewer System.
Section 3. That the Agreement, in substantially the form attached, is hereby approved and
the Village Manager, Village Clerk and the Village Attorney, in their respective capacities are
authorized and directed to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Village and are authorized to take
any and all action necessary to immediately implement all of the purposes and intent of this
Resolution and attached Agreement.
Section 4. Funds to pay for the engineering services are in the Capital Improvement Fund
and the Sanitary Sewer Fund.
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
