AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH
T&M ASSOCIATES - ARTHUR KILL RECREATIONAL
FACILITY, PHASE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borou§h of Carteret ~s in need of specialized engineerin9
services in connection with the preparation of a NJDEP Waterfront
Development Permit application and Freshwater Wetlands General Permit
application for the Arthur Kill Recreational Facility, Phase I Improvements;
and
WHEREAS, the Borou§h's Consultin9 Engineer' Donald J. Norbut, P.E.,
C.M.E., of T&M Associates, possesses the requisite skill and expertise to
provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Donald T. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E. has submitted a proposal to
provide said engineerin9 services at a total cost not to exceed $3,900.00;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, THE chief Financial Officer certifies that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as
follows:
1. The proposal of T & M Associates for the specialized
en§ineerin§ services related to the preparation of a NJDEP
Waterfront Development Permit application and Freshwater
Wetlands General Permit application for the Arthur Kill
Recreation Facility, Phase I Improvements in the total
amount not to exceed $3,900.00 is hereby approved;
2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal;
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional
services contract.
