AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES WITH DMR ARCHITECTS
DESIGN CONCEPTS — PAVILLION ON THE PIER
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized architectural services in
connection with the design concepts for the Pavillion on the Pier; and
WHEREAS, DMR Architects, 777 Terrace Avenue, Suite 607, Hasbrouck Heights, New
Jersey 07604, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services;
and
WHEREAS, DMR Architects has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total
cost not to exceed $100,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certifies that funds are or will be available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from DMR Architects for specialized architectural
services in connection with the design concepts for the Pavillion on
the Pier at a total cost not to exceed $100,000.00 is hereby
approved.
2. Annexed hereto is.a copy of said proposal.
3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N,J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a) in accordance with
the Borough's lair and Open Process as authorized by law.
