RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A NON -FAIR
AND OPEN CONTRACT FOR REPAIRS TO POLICE HEADQUARTERS
WHEREAS, the BOROUGH OF CARTERET is in need of repairs due to a pipe break at
the Carteret Police Headquarters in the Borough as a non -fair and open contract pursuant
to the provisions of NJS.A. 19:44A-20.4 or 20.5; and
WHEREAS, Adirondack Contracting, Inc. has submitted a proposal indicating they will
provide these services for $22,160.00; and
WHEREAS, Adirondack Contracting, Inc., 2193 81h Avenue, Sea Girt, NJ 08750, has
completed and submitted a Business Entity Disclosure Certification which certifies that
Adirondack Contracting, Inc. has not made any reportable contributions to a political or
candidate committee in the Borough of Carteret in the previous one year, and that the
contract will prohibit Adirondack Contracting, Inc, from making any reportable
contributions through the term of the contract, and
WHEREAS, the CFO has certified the availability of funds; and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret authorizes the CFO to enter into a contract with Adirondack Contracting, Inc.
as described herein; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Business Disclosure Entity Certification and
the Determination of Value be placed on file with this resolution.
