SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
APRIL 4, 2023
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Man called the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember — Sternquist, Chavez, Man
ABSENT: Councilmember — None
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, City Attorney Murphy, Community
Development Director Reimers
Mayor Pro Tem Chavez made a motion to excuse Councilmember Vizcarra and
Councilmember Yu for cause.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT — None
4. CLOSED SESSION
A. Purpose: Potential Litigation
Potential Cases: One (1)
Authority: Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2)
Representatives: City Attorney
B. Purpose: Significant Exposure to Litigation, Facts Unknown to
the Plaintiff
Potential Cases: One (1)

City Council recessed to closed session at 7:01 p.m. City Council reconvened with
all members present at 7:40 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
City Attorney Murphy reported that City Council met in Closed Session on Closed
Session Item A "Potential Litigation" and Closed Session Item B "Significant
City Council Minutes
April 4, 2023

action.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
