AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT AND MOA
BETWEEN THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET AND PBA LOCAL 47
WHEREAS, there have been negotiations between the Borough of Carteret and Carteret
PBA Local 47 for a proposed contract for the period of January 1, 2022 through
December 31, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret and the Police Officers covered under this contract,
have reached an agreement as to the terms of said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that the contract between the
Borough of Carteret and PBA Local 47, be and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Borough Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute said contract and MOA on behalf of the Borough of Carteret, same
having been ratified and signed by PBA Local 47.

and certified as a true copy of the
