PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 7201, lot 9 applied for tax exempt status under the provisions for
a total disabled veteran status in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.30et seq, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor reviewed and approved the application for the 2022 tax
year effective, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that taxes be cancelled accordingly,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel
and refund taxes for the 2022 tax year in the amount of $4,927.13 and cancel taxes for
the 2023 year in the amount of $2,463.57.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 12, 2023.
