PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 5502, lot 13 applied for tax exempt status under the provisions for
a total disabled veteran status in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.30et seq, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor reviewed and approved the application for the 2022 tax
year effective 10/27/22, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that taxes be cancelled accordingly,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, Now Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel
and refund taxes for the 2022 tax year in the amount of $991.99 and cancel taxes for
the 2023 year in the amount of $2,834.27.
Adopted this 30'u' day of December, 2021
and certified as a true copy of the
original on December 31, 2021.
