AUTIIORIZING UEZ ADMINISTRATION
BUDGET FOR FY2024
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, an Urban Community, participates with the State
of New Jersey in the UEZ Program which utilizes 1% of the 3V2% sales tax in the
administration of this program; and
WHEREAS, the administration budget anticipated UEZ assistance in the amount of
$33,212 has been submitted to the governing body of the Borough of Carteret for
review; and
WHEREAS, the funds shall be used to subsidize the administrative costs of the UEZ
Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret hereby approves submission of said UEZ budget for FY 2024.
