APPROVAL TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW
JERSEY DEPARTMENT OP ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ONRR FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A RAIN GARDEN AT CARTERET PARK .
WHEREAS, the Borough was awarded a grant in the amount of $189,200 from the NJDEP
ONRR Hudson River Estuary Restoration Program to fund the installation of a stormwater
rain garden at Carteret Park; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret hereby authorizes
commitment to the proposed project; and
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the grant
agreement on behalf of the Borough of Carteret and that their signature constitutes
acceptance of the terns and conditions of the grant agreement and approves the execution
of the grant agreement. -
