AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY ADDING NEW SECTION 203,1 TO THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO THE DRAINAGE OF LOTS IN.SUBDIVI-
SIONS AND LOT SPLITS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. A new Section 203.1, reading as follows, is
hereby added to Article X of the Temple City Municipal Code:
203.1. Drainage. All surface drainage water
must drain into a public street by:
a)
b)
c)
Natural slope, or
Fill dirt hauled in and compacted
to specification, or
By securing an easement over adjacent
property to run an underground concrete
pipe or box to the adjacent public
street.
All such drainage proposals to have the prior
approval of the City Engineer.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify and attest to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
once in the Temple City Times, a semi - weekly newspaper, published
and circulated in the City of Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of July , 1965.

ABSENT: Councilmen- Dickason
