AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AMENDING SECTION 2703 OF THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO COUNCIL MEETINGS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 2703 of the Temple City Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
2703. Council Meetings.
Regular meetings of the City Council shall be
held in the Council Chamber at 7 :30 p.m. on
the first and third Tuesdays of each month of
the year; provided that if any such Tuesday
hereby fixed for the date of such meeting
shall fall on any day declared by the pro-
visions of law or ordinance to be a holiday,
then such regular meeting shall be held on
the next succeeding day not a holiday at the
hour and place hereinbefore named for such
meeting; provided however that any adjourned,
regular or special meeting may be held in the
Council Chamber or in the North meeting room
on any date at any hour selected by the hayor
with the consent of a majority of the City
Council provided that the date and hour of
such adjourned, regular or special meeting
is to be held is publicly announced by the
Mayor at the regular or special meeting from
which the adjournment is taken.
b) Study sessions of the City Council shall be
held in the North meeting room at 7 :30 p.m.
on the Mondays preceding the first and third
Tuesdays of each month. Study sessions shall
be regular Council meetings for all purposes
except no official or final action shall be
taken thereat, nor shall minutes be kept of
such proceedings.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify and attest to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the Temple City Times, a semi - weekly newspaper,
published and circulated in the City of Temple City.

meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City, held on
the 6th day of July , 1965, and was duly passed,
approved a,d signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 20th
day of July , 1965, by the following vote of the
Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell, Harker
NOES: Councilmen -None
