Superintendent's Report: Plan to open by memorial Day Weekend, may try the week prior depending on weather. Ramp: $114,000 - second bid came in from Granite Construction; concrete being the high cost. Porous Pave is being considered for the ramp as a possible cost savings and provided better traction and infiltrate water to some degree. Budget was for $70,000, may find excess funds from reserves. This would take away from the tee box work planned. May consider pavers as well. Landscapes Unlimited toured the course with the master plan and they believe they can work us in for tee box work. Possible this coming Fall. May need to consider shutting down a nine at a time to allow for project work. Paver project due to begin as weather permits. New mechanic starting on May 23rd; that will bring staff back to 3 full time employees. Rotary club looking for opportunities to volunteer. Expecting to be within budget partly due to previous Fall purchase of chemicals and fertilizer.
