AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AMENDING SECTIONS 8100, 8200,
AND 8300 OF THE TEMPLE CITY CODE
RELATING TO THE ADOPTION OF THE 1965
EDITION OF THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY
BUILDING LAWS, ELECTRICAL LAWS,
& PLUMBING LAWS, BY REFERENCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTIONS 8100, 8200, and 8300 of the Temple City Municipal
Code are hereby amended to read as follows:
8100. Except as hereinafter provided that certain building
code known and designated as the Los Angeles County Building Code,
1965 Edition, as published in the 1965 Edition of the Los Angeles
County Building Laws, pages 21 through 544 inclusive, and such shall
be and become the Building Code of the City of Temple City, regulating
the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving,
removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, use, height, area, main-
tenance of all structures and certain equipment therein specifically
regulated and grading within the City of Temple City, and providing fo
the issuance of permits and the collection of fees therefor, providing
penalties for violation of such code, declaring and establishing fire
zones.
8200. Except as hereinafter provided, that certain electri-
cal code as published in the Los Angeles County Building Laws, 1965
Edition, pages 545 to 582, be and the same is hereby adopted by re-
ference as the Electrical Code of the City of Temple City, and may
be cited as such.
6300. Except as herein provided that certain plumbing code
known and designated as the Los Angeles County Plumbing Code, 1965
Edition, as published in the 1965 Edition of the Los Angeles County
Building Laws, pages 583 through end, and such code shall be and be-
come the Plumbing Code of the City of Temple City, regulating plumb-
ing and drainage systems, house sewers, private sewage disposal sys-
tems and prescribing conditions under which such work may be carried
on within the City of Temple City and providing for the issuance of
permits and the collection of fees therefor.
Three copies of said Los Angeles County Building Laws,
Ordinance No. 2252, as amended, and the Los Angeles County Building
Laws, 1965 Edition, are on deposit in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Temple City, and shall be at all times maintained by said
City Clerk in the City Hall for use and examination by the public.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance.
