PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 3601 lot I demolished a building on October 22nd, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the assessed value for 2023 incorrectly included the demolished
building, and
WHEREAS, the'rax Collector is recommending that taxes be cancelled accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel
taxes for the 2023 tax year in the amount of $4,655.89, and refund the overpayment in
the amount of $643.55.
Adopted this 27th day of July, 2023
and certified as a true copy of the
original on July 28, 2023.
