Marie Rodriguez is concerned that children are not wearing helmets. She asked Chief Bryson if
there is anything that can be done to enforce this state law. Since there is no punishment for
children not wearing helmets and due to staffing issues – no.
Diane Schleicher asked everyone to be thinking of a solution for crosswalks for bicycles route to
safely cross Highway 80 (First Street) and bring them back next month for discussion.
NEXT MEETING: May 10, 2011 at 11 am at city hall.
