SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
AUGUST 1, 2023
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Man called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. in the Council
Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.

City Council recessed to closed session at 6:39 p.m. City Council reconvened
with all members present at 7:22 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
City Attorney Murphy reported that the City Council met in Closed Session
regarding Item A, "Potential Litigation", and made a unanimous decision to decline
the claim. City Council directed the City Manager to draft a denial letter to be
mailed out this week.

City Council met in Closed Session on Item B, "Conference with Labor
Negotiator", and directed staff to bring this item back in open session for
discussion and Council action.

The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
