SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
JULY 18, 2023
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Man called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:42 p.m. in the Council
Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.

City Council recessed to closed session at 6:43 p.m. City Council reconvened
with all members present at 7:33 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
City Attorney Murphy reported that the City Council met in Closed Session for
Item A, "Potential Litigation", received a report and gave direction to staff and the
City Attorney's office to attempt final negotiation to avoid litigation. If
unsuccessful, the city prosecutor has authority to initiate a civil code enforcement
'0 action to resolve the pending matter. The identity of the defendant and facts
relating to this matter will be made available to the public if the defendant is
served, after unsuccessful negotiation.

City Council met in Closed Session on Item B "Conference with Labor Negotiator".
There was no reportable action.

The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:34 p.m.
