ORDINANCE NO. 65 -174
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ADDING NEW SECTIONS
8103, 8104 AND 8105 TO THE TEMPLE CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO BUILDING
PERMITS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Sections 8103, 8104 and 8105, reading as follows;
are hereby added to the Temple City Municipal Code.
Section 8103. A llication of Subdivision Ordinance.
No building permit shall be issued witE 'respect
to the construction of any building or structure on any
parcels of land which have been subdivided, divided, split,
or otherwise separated in ownership since January 1, 1960,
unless such subdivision, division, split or other such
separation in ownership has complied in full with all of the
regulations and requirements concerning subdivisions, lot
splits, and lot combinations as set forth in this Code.
Section 8104. Drainage Facilities.
The B 1Grng Department is hereby authorized to
withhold, deny or grant conditionally, application for a
building permit which involves construction or grading which
changes the natural slope of any lot or lots to the extent
that water drainage thereon is changed to run in a way that
creates a hazard to the public health, safety or property.
Section 8105. Flood Hazards
The Building nspector may disapprove any build-
ing permit because of flooding hazards, inundation or pool-
ing of water, and may require protective improvements to
be constructed as a condition precedent to the approval of
such permit.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published
in the Temple City Times, a semi - weekly newspaper, published and
circulated in the City of Temple City.

Temple City, do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance,
being Ordinance No. 65 -174 , was introduced at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council of the City of Temple City, held on the
7th day of September , 1965, and was duly passed,
approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the Deputy
City Clerk at a regular meeting of said City Council held on
the 21st day of September , 1965, by the following vote
of tl,e Council:
