ATTACHMENT(S) Banner Permit Application February 18, 2011 To Whom It May Concern: The Temple City Schools Foundation is requesting the City of Temple City to hang street banners on Las Tunas from March 2(lto April f12011. The banners are for the Foundation's spring fundraising drive for the Temple City Unified School District. The banners will display out campaign logo — "Thrive!" — with the copy, "Help Our School's Thrive!" along with the Foundation's logo, website address and phone number for donations. The Thrive! Campaign's purpose is to raise funds for the school district to help offset possible upcoming budget cuts by the State of California. The campaign's kickoff is mid - March, with letters going out to school families, banners hung at all of our schools, buttons worn by various teachers, administrators, board members, etc., outreach to local businesses and so forth. The street banners are an excellent way to help the Foundation get the word out about this important campaign. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions at (626) 524-8742.
