COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY

REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 15, 2011
1. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chairman Chavez called the Community Redevelopment Agency
Regular Meeting to order at 8:02 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at
5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT:

Member -Blum, Sternquist, Yu, Chavez
Member-Vizcarra
ALSO PRESENT: Executive Director Pulido, Agency Counsel Vail,
Assistant Executive Director Masura, Agency Secretary
Flandrick
Mr. Blum moved to excuse Chairman Vizcarra for cause, seconded by Mrs.
Sternquist and unanimously carried.
ORDER OF AGENDA CHANGED
10. JOINT CLOSED SESSION
At 8:03 p.m., the Community Redevelopment Agency recessed to a joint
closed session with the City Council for the purposes stated below.
Purpose: Conference with Legal Counsel — Anticipated Litigation
Cases(s): Significant Exposure to Litigation — Three (3) Matters
Authority: Government Code Section 54956.9(b)
Representatives: Executive Director, Agency Counsel
RECONVENE
At 8:33 p.m., the City Council and the Community Redevelopment Agency
Meetings were reconvened with all members present except Mayor/Chairman
Vizcarra.

CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
City Attorney/Agency Counsel Vail stated the City Council and Community
Redevelopment Agency were briefed by legal counsel regarding matters
representing significant exposure to liability to the City and the Agency.
There was no other reportable action.
RECESS/RECONVENE
The Community Redevelopment Agency meeting was recessed at 8:34 p.m.
and reconvened at 10:34 pm. with all Members present except Chairman
Vizcarra.
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
Mr. Blum moved to approve the Consent Calendar, seconded by Mrs.
Sternquist and unanimously carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Member -Blum, Sternquist, Yu, Chavez
NOES: Member -None
ABSENT: Member-Vizcarra
ABSTAIN: Member -None
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 1, 2011, as
presented.
B. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. CRA 11-1017— APPROVAL OF
PAYMENT OF BILLS
Adopted Resolution No. CRA 11-1017, a RESOLUTION OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ALLOWING CLAIMS AND DEMANDS IN THE SUM OF $5,926.50
DEMAND NOS. 3803 THROUGH 3804.
