Pulido, City Manager By: Mary Flandrick, City Clerk SUBJECT: CONSIDERATION OF A REQUEST FOR PLACEMENT AND REMOVAL OF A STREET BANNER BY FIRST LUTHERAN SCHOOL RECOMMENDATION: The City Council is requested to approve the request from First Lutheran School to place and remove a street banner, subject to submission of proper insurance documentation. BACKGROUND: Attached is an annual request from First Lutheran School for City staff to place and remove a street banner publicizing their summer camp. The request includes the proposed placement of the banner during the period of May 16 through June 3, 2011, at the intersection of Temple City Boulevard and Las Tunas Drive. ANALYSIS: City Council approval of this request will allow First Lutheran School to publicize their summer camp. CONCLUSION: The City Council is requested to consider a request by First Lutheran School for City staff to place and remove a street banner publicizing the their summer camp.
