SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 21, 2023
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Man called the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 7::03 -p.m. in the
Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City:

PRESENT: Councilmember — Sternquist, Vizcarra, Yu, Chavez, Man
ABSENT: Councilmember — None
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, City Attorney Murphy, and City Clerk
Kuo
3. PUBLIC COMMENT — None
4. CLOSED SESSION
A. Purpose: Conference with Real Property Negotiator
Property: 5003 Sereno Drive, Temple City, CA 91780
Agency Negotiator: Community Development Director and City Manager
Authority: Government Code Section 54956.8
City Council recessed to closed session at 7:04 p.m. City Council reconvened
with all members present at 7:27 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
City Attorney Murphy reported that the City Council met in Closed Session
regarding Item A, "Conference with Real Property Negotiator" and was briefed on
the real property negotiations regarding 5003 Serena Drive. At the end of the
briefing, City Council unanimously directed the City Manager that in the event the
transaction does not proceed, the City Manager and City Prosecutor's office is
instructed to take all necessary action, up to and including the receivership, for
code enforcement that has been temporarily stayed or delayed during the
progression of this transaction.

The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
