RE: MBE/WBE CERTIFICATION APPROVAL
The St. Louis Airport Authority (SLAA) is pleased to notify you that your firm meets the requirements for
certification as a MBE, in accordance with the policies of the MBE/WBE Program.
The effective date of your certification is noted above . Work done by your firm will count toward applicable
MBE participation goals only if your firm performs a commercially useful function, is responsible for a
distinct element of the work of a contract, and carries out its responsibilities by actually performing,
managing and supervising the work.
If there are any changes in the ownership, control, physical address, mailing address, e-mail address,
telephone number or fax number of your firm, you must notify this office immediately. Failure to report any
of these changes to this office and/or any violation of the policies and procedures of this program may result
in the revocation of your certification.
Your firm shall retain its certification as long as it remains a local firm, remains in active good standing as a
DBE with the MRCC certifying agency, and complies with the applicable program rules. However, each
year on the anniversary date of your certification, you must submit to the SLAA a signed, notarized affidavit,
affirming that there have been no changes in the firm’s circumstances affecting its ability to meet the
requirements for certification. An Annual Update Affidavit and a contact update form will be sent to you
prior to your anniversary dates. You may download these forms from our website www .mwdbe.org. It is
your responsibility to ensure that your firm’s certification remains current .
Your firm's name has been incorporated in our online directory of the Directory of Minority & Women
Owned Businesses. Our website address is www.mwdbe.org, which is utilized by firms bidding on city
contracts.

any M/WBE shall be the recipient of any part of any City Contracting Opportunities.
