Jones Clerk- Treasurer GREENCASTLE BOARD OF WORKS EXECUTIVE SESSION TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 1997 2:30 P.M. STREET DEPARTMENT The Greencastle Board of Works met in Executive Session Tuesday, February 25, 1997, 2: ')0 p.m. at the City Street Department. Mayor Michael called the meeting to order. On the Roll Call, the following were found to be present: Sue Murray and George Murphey. Also present was Water Superintendent Leon Phillips. The purpose of this meeting is to interview prospective applicants for the positions of laborer and meter reader for the Water Department. Rav Hoover is currently employed at ASA Land Surveying as a land surveyor. Mr. Hoover stated that he only receives approximately 27 hours per week and really needs to work 40 hours and needs the stability of a full time job. He has no heavy equipment experience but is willing to learn. • Stacev Patterson is currently a construction worker for Morton Buildings. Mr. Patterson states that the hours are inconsistent and he needs stability. Mr. Patterson does have some experience with a backhoe and is willing to learn to operate heavy equipment. Chris Trigg was emploved at Techno Trim for three years until their departure from Greencastle. Mr. Trigg states that he has operated forklifts and large trucks and is willing to learn to operate heavy equipment. Ryan Simmerman is currently employed at the Airport in Indianapolis. Mr. Simmerman states that he wants to be closer to home. Mr. Simmerman does have excavating background and likes to work outside.
