ORDINANCE NO. 66 -182
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ADDING NEW SECTIONS 2722.1, 7304.1 and
2.1 TO THE TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO TERNS FOR COMMISSIONEP.S.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. New Section 2722.1, reading as follows, is
hereby added to Article II of the Temple City Municipal Code:
2722.1. Same as amended. As the terms of the
Commissioners expire as set forth in Section 2722
from and after the date of enactment of this Section,
subsequent Commissioners shall be appointed for a
term of two (2) years only.
SECTION 2. New Section 7304.1, reading as follows, is
hereby added to Article VII of the Temple City Municipal Code:
7304.1. Same as amended. As the terms of the
Commi i inners expire as set forth in Section 7304 from
and after the date of enactment of this Section, sub-
sequent Commissioners shall be appointed for a term of
two (2) years only.
SECTION 3. New Section 2.1, reading as follows, is
hereby added to Article IX of the Temple City Municipal Code:

Commi Toners expire as set forth in Section 2 of
Article IX. from and after the date of enactment of
this Section, subsequent Commissioners shall be
appointed for a term of two (2) years only.
SECTION 4. The City Council finds and determines that
it is necessary to enact this Ordinance as an urgency ordinance
in order to establish uniform terms of Commissioners within the
City of Temple City, and to continue the existing prescribed
terms would be inimical to the best interests of the community.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple City Times, a semi- weekly newspaper,
published and circulated in the City of Temple City.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 66 -182 , was introduced and read in full, and was duly
passed as an urgency measure, approved and signed by the Mayor
and attested by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of said
City Council held on the 4th day of January , 1966,
by the following vote of the Council:
AYES: Councilmen - Dickason, Merritt, Nunamaker, Tyrell, Harker
NOES: Councilmen-None
