AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks Department desires to submit a grant application to purchase a media blaster and graffiti removal machine; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Wayne County Foundation to purchase a media blaster and graffiti removal machine.
2. The City of Richmond Parks Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00).
3. Said Funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to purchase a media blaster and graffiti removal machine.
Passed and adopted this 4th day of February, 2002, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
