AN ORDINANCE Of THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTION 1721 OF THE TEMPLE CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO NON-CONFORMING
LOTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 1721 of the Temple City Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 1721, Non - conforming Status.
Public Usage.
Whenever any lot, or any required
front, rear or side yard upon such lot is
rendered non - conforming solely by reason of:
(1) Dedication to the City for a public
purpose of certain portions of land
included in said lot; or
(2) Eminent Domain proceedings; or
(3) Purchase proceedings,
which result in the acquisition by the City
of such lot, the said lot shall not he 'deemed
non - conforming within tho meaning of Article
17, insofar as lot area rar.uired, front,
roar or side yard area is concerned.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be, published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper,
printed, published and generally circulated in this City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of March
1966.
