A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE DESIGNATION OF
THE INTERSECTION OF AGNES AVENUE AND
ERNESTINE AVENUE AS A MULTI-WAY STOP
INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, staff has received requests from local residents to
designate the intersection of Agnes Avenue and Ernestine Avenue as a multi-way
stop intersection; and
WHEREAS, staff reviewed the relevant information and found that said
designation was justifiable for special conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission reviewed the
relevant information and concurred with staffs recommendation to designate said
intersection as a multi-way intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the intersection of Agnes Avenue and Ernestine
Avenue be designated as a multi-way stop intersection.
Section 2. That the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect the
necessary signs for said intersection.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
