A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SEND OUT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
A CITY-WIDE CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a highly
qualified and experienced consulting firm to design, conduct, and implement a
City-wide comprehensive classification and compensation plan study for all full-
time and part-time classifications;
WHEREAS, it is a common practice by cities to solicit proposals for
certain services; and
WHEREAS, the proposals received from Consulting Firms would allow
City staff to select the service that would be most effective and efficient.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That staff be authorized and directed to send out a Request
for Proposals for a City-wide Classification and Compensation Plan.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
