A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CPS
EXECUTIVE SEARCH IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $70,000 TO CONDUCT
THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF REDEVELOPMENT, DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES AND MARKETING AND GRANTS MANAGER
RECRUITMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE
FUNDING APPROPRIATION FOR SAID SERVICES
WHEREAS, Vacancies currently exist for the positions of Deputy Director of
Redevelopment, Deputy Director of Development Services and Marketing and Grants
Manager; and
WHEREAS, In order to attract the most qualified candidates for each position, it
is in the best interest of the City to hire an Executive Recruiter to conduct the search;
and
WHEREAS, CPS Executive Search has been selected based on firm
qualification and experience, cost, time frame and prior experience with recruitments in
Lynwood.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection of CPS Executive
Search in an amount not to exceed $70,000 to conduct the current recruitments.
Section 2. The transfer of funds in an amount not to exceed those listed as
follows:

Section 3. The Mayor is authorized to execute an agreement approved to form
by the City Attorney.
Section 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
