HomeMy Public PortalAbout2005-184 (11-15-05)RESOLUTION NO. 2005.184 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND THE MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL EMPLOYEES' SALARY SCHEDULES AND AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF AN IDENTIFIED INCUMBENT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as needed; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary resolution with salary schedules for Management and General Employees'; and WHEREAS, the City has identified a need for the position descriptions of Housing Manager, Financial Analyst and Senior Administrative Analyst and the required job analysis has been completed and a classification statement has been prepared; and WHEREAS, the City identified a need to upgrade salary levels of identified positions; and WHEREAS, the City Negotiator has met and conferred with both employee bargaining groups regarding the proposed modifications that effect incumbent employees. NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification Plan and the Management Employees' Salary Schedule to include new positions as follows: 1) Housing Manager 2) Financial Analyst 3) Sr. Administrative Analyst $5525.98 -$6740.41 60M $4019.54-$4888.61 47M $3828.60- $4658.34 45M Section 2. Amend the Management and General Employees' Salary Schedule to upgrade the salary levels of the following positions: Accounting Technician Information Systems Technician $2409.26 - $2928.68 (27G) to $2591.56 - $3149.32 (30G) $2928.68 - $3559.08 (35G)to $3227.44 - $3923.60 (39G) Information Systems Manager $4019.54 - $4888.61 (47M)to $4328.41 - $5266.26 (50M) Section 3. The Fiscal Year 05-06 budget is hereby amended to add the positions of Housing Manager (Redevelopment Department), Financial Analyst (Finance Department), Sr. Administrative Analyst (City Manager's Office), and Administrative Analyst II (City Manager's Office). Section 4. The Fiscal Year 05-06 budget is hereby amended to delete the positions of Housing Associate (Redevelopment Department), Administrative Analyst III (Finance Department), and Administrative Aide (City Manager's Office). Section 5. Reclassification of the following identified incumbent: INCUMBENT POSITION SALARY RECLASSIFIED SALARY RANGE POSITION RANGE Account Clerk 18G (Accounting Division) Accounting Technician 30G Section 6.
