HomeMy Public PortalAbout2005-188 (11-15-05)RESOLUTION NO. 2005.188 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SEND OUT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR COLLECTION AGENCY SERVICES WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a Collection Agency for delinquent accounts relating but not limited to, water, sewer, trash services, damage to City property and miscellaneous accounts receivable; and WHEREAS, it is a common practice by cities to solicit proposals for certain services; and WHEREAS, the proposals received from Collection Agencies would allow City staff to select the service that would be most effective and efficient. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, order, and resolve as follows: Section 1. That staff be authorized and directed to send out a Request for Proposals for Collection Agency Services. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
