A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING THE CHRISTMAS DECORATION
FY 2005-06 CONTRACT TO LIGHTING AMERICA, INC. AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION AND
TRANSFER FOR THIS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT WITH LIGHTING
AMERICA, INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to implement the Christmas Decoration
Project for Fiscal Year 2005 - 2006; and
WHEREAS, the City has retained Lighting America, Inc. to provide
installation, removal, repairs, maintenance and storage of city-owned Christmas
decorations; and
WHEREAS, said services will cost $28,350 for FY 2005-06; and
WHEREAS, the General fund is the only available fund that can be used for
this said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council award a contract to Lighting America, Inc. for
services related to the Christmas Decoration Project, FY 2005-06 in the amount of $28,350.
Sections 2: That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

Unappropriated General Fund Christmas Decoration Project 2005-06
$28,350. $28,350.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
