A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CBM CONSULTING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $20,000 TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTINING SERVICES TO
CONDUCT THE STREET SWEEPING STUDY, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUND APPROPRIATION
AND TRANSFER FOR THE STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to improve the quality and
efficiency of the street sweeping operations; and
WHEREAS, CBM Consulting, Inc. is qualified and possesses the
expertise and experience to conduct the said study; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the consultant's proposal and found
that the proposed fees of $20,000 to conduct the Street Sweeping Study are
reasonable; and

WHEREAS, available funds have been identified in the General
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council approves a service contract with
CBM Consulting, Inc. to conduct the Street Sweeping Study.
Section 2: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract
agreement with CBM Consulting, Inc. in the amount of $20,000.
Section 3.. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby
authorized to make the following fund appropriation and transfer:

Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its

I, the undersigned, City Clerk of the City of Lynwood, do hereby certify that
the resolution entitled, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CBM CONSULTING, INC. IN
THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTINING
SERVICES TO CONDUCT THE STREET SWEEPING STUDY, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUND
APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER FOR THE STUDY was duly adopted by the
City Council of the City of Lynwood at a regular meeting held in the City Hall of
said City on the day of SeDteeber 6 , 2005, and passed by the following
vote:
