A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO. 61470 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE DEVELOPER
RELATED TO OFF-SITE IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED BY SAID PARCEL MAP
WHEREAS, the development at 3259 Flower Street requires the
preparation and recordation of Parcel Map No. 61470; and a dedication for street
purposes was required by said parcel map; and
WHEREAS, a dedication for street purposes was required by said parcel
map; and
WHEREAS, said dedication has been analyzed and approved by the City
Engineer.
WHEREAS, the developer of said development has posted a monetary
deposit in the amount of $4,500 to guarantee completion of off-site improvements
required by Parcel Map No. 61470; and
WHEREAS, the final Parcel Map No. 61470 has been reviewed by the Los
Angeles County Engineer for accuracy and compliance with the State
Subdivision Map Act and the City's Subdivision Ordinance. It is now ready to be
accepted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall
be served by accepting said dedication; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the final Parcel Map No. 61470.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute an Agreement between
the City and Guadalupe Burgos, the developer of the property located at 3259
Flower Street.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
