A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO PCN 3 INC, IN THE AMOUNT OF $86,640.00
FOR THE LYNWOOD CITY PARK SPORT FIELDS LIGHTING UPGRADE
PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 05-5310, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Park Sport Fields Lighting Upgrade
Project, Project No. 05-5310 is scheduled for completion during the FY 2005-06;
and
WHEREAS, said project is funded with the Los Angeles County Regional
Parks and Open Space District Proposition A Excess funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening for said project was held on August 30, 2005
and PCN 3 Inc. was the apparent lowest bidder at $86,640.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the
necessary experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the Lynwood City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Lynwood City Park Sport Fields
Lighting Upgrade Project, Project No. 05-5310 be awarded to PCN 3 Inc., for its
Iow bid of $86,640.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the Lynwood City Council and PCN 3 Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of September 2005.
