A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT TO
COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING SERVICES, INC. (CHS), IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $20,000, TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY'S
AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROGRAMS, AND AUTHORIZE THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood administers Affordable Housing
Programs with funding from the Home Investment Partneship (HOME) Program
and Lynwood Housing Set-Aside Funds; and
Whereas, the City of Lynwood has determined the need to contract for
professional services to assist with the administration of the Affordable Housing
Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the procurement process
for Housing Rehabilitation Services according to the Federal Procurement
Standards provided in Section 24 CFR Part 85 of the regulations; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council proposes to enter into a Professional
Services Agreement with a qualified firm to assist the City in providing affordable
housing opportunities to Iow income residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows: -
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council approves the Professional Service
Agreement between the City of Lynwood and Comprehensive Housing Service,
Inc. (CHS) to provide Housing Administration and Program Services for the City's
Affordable Housing Programs.
Section 2. The Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
