1913, and pursuant to Resolution No. 66;569 adopted by the City
Council of the City of Temple City held on the 18th day of
January , 1966, a special election was held on the 22nd day of
March, 1966, in inhabited territory contiguous to the City of
Temple City, designated as "Annexation No. 10", and which is
hereinafter more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, at said special election the following question was
submitted to the qualified electors residing in said territory:
SHALL "ANNEXATION NO. 10" BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY? and
WHEREAS, it appears from the canvass of the returns of the
votes cast at the special election that a majority of all votes
cast in said territory on the question of annexation; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the special election and all
proceedings relating thereto have been conducted strictly in
accordance with law;
NOW, THEREFORE, the People of the City of Temple City do
ordain as follows:
1. That the annexation of inhabited territory contiguous
to the City of Temple City designated as 'Annexation No. 10" be
and the same hereby is approved upon the terms contained in the
aforesaid question which was submitted at the special election
held on the 22nd day of March, 1966. Said territory is described
as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRI-
TORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION NO. 10 ".
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation Act of
That parcel of land in the County of Los Angeles, State of
California, included within the following described boundary:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Long -
den Avenue (60 feet wide) as shown on map of Tract No. 5904
recorded in Book 69, page 29 of Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County with the southerly continuation of a
curve, concave to the east and having a radius of 4050 feet, in
the westerly line of Rosemead Boulevard, said curve being the
westerly line of the land described as Parcel 1 in deed to the
State of California recorded in Book 29691, page 310 of Official
Records in the office of said Recorder, said intersection being
also a point in the westerly boundary of the City of Temple
City as the same existed on July 1, 1965; thence westerly along
said center line to the center line of Muscatel Avenue (60 feet
wide) as shown on map of Tract No. 5903 recorded in Book 67,
page 59 of said Maps; thence continuing westerly along the cen-

ter line of said Longden Avenue (60 feet wide) as shown on said
last mentioned map to the northerly prolongation of the west-
erly line of Lot 31, said last mentioned tract; thence south-
erly in a direct line to the southwesterly corner of Lot 18 of
said last mentioned tract; thence southerly in a direct line to
the northeasterly corner of the land described first in Parcel
153 (Eaton ''.'!ash) in a Final Order of Condemnation had in Sup-
erior Court Case No. 658762, a certified copy of which is
recorded in Book 53303, page 360 of said Official Records;
thence southerly along the easterly line of said last mentioned
parcel of land to the southeasterly corner of said last men-
tioned parcel of land; thence southerly alone the easterly line
of the easement to said District (Eaton Wash) as described in
easement recorded in Book 16003, page 132 of said Official
Records, to the northeasterly corner of the easement to said
District (Eaton ' -lash) as described in easement recorded in Book
14112, page 88 of said Official Records; thence southerly along
the easterly line of said last mentioned easement to the most
southerly corner of said last mentioned easement; thence south-
erly along the easterly line of the land described first in
Parcel 152 (Eaton Wash) in a Final Order of Condemnation had
in Superior Court Case No. 653762 a certified copy of which
is recorded in Book 55461, page 44 of said Official Records to
the northerly line of Lot 9, Tract No. 29903 as shown on map
recorded in Book 735, pages 60 and 61 of said Maps; thence west-
erly along the northerly line of said last mentioned lot to the
northwesterly corner of said last mentioned Iot; thence south-
erly along the westerly line of said last mentioned tract to
the southwesterly corner of Lot 4 of said last mentioned tract;
thence easterly along the southerly line of said last mentioned
lot to the easterly line of the land described First in Parcel
152 (Eaton 1,ash) in a Final Order of Condemnation had in Sup-
erior Court Case No. 658762, a certified copy of which is
recorded in Book 55461, page 44 of said Official Records; thence
southerly along said last mentioned easterly line to the north-
erly line of Hermosa Drive (formerly Maple Avenue)(60 feet
wide) as shown on map of said Tract No. 5903; thence southeast-
erly in a direct line to the northwesterly corner of the land
described in deed recorded in Book D1704, pace 652 of said
Official Records; thence westerly along the southerly line of
said Hermosa Drive to the southwesterly line of the 100 foot
strip of land described in deed to said District (Eaton Wash)
recorded in Book 14139, page 2 of said Official Records; thence
southeasterly along the southwesterly line of said 100 foot
strip of land to an angle point in the boundary of the City of
San Gabriel as the same existed on said date; thence southeast-
erly, easterly and southerly along said last mentioned City
boundary to an angle point in said boundary of the City of
Temple City, said angle point being the intersection of said
last mentioned center line with a line drawn at right angles
to the easterly line of Muscatel Avenue (60 feet wide) as des -
cribed in deed to the County of Los Angeles recorded in Book
1400, page 361 of said Official Records and that passes through
the intersection of said last mentioned easterly line and the
westerly line of the Eaton °;lash as described in deed to said
District recorded in Book 7230, page 110 of Deeds in the office
of said Recorder; thence easterly along said last mentioned
City boundary and following the same in all its various courses
to the point of beginning.

2:.'. Thd City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of Ois
Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Temple
City Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Temple City.
