A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH CPS
EXECUTIVE SEARCH TO CONDUCT THE DIRECTOR OF
REDEVELOPMENT/DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RECRUITMENT AND
AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF $25,000 FOR SAID SERVICES
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy for the position of Director of
Redevelopment/Deputy Executive Director; and
WHEREAS, in order to attract the most qualified candidates for the position, it is
in the best interest of the City to hire an Executive Recruiter to conduct the search; and
WHEREAS, CPS Executive Search has been selected based on firm
qualification and experience, cost, time frame and prior experience with recruitments in
Lynwood.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection of CPS Executive
Search and the firm's fee in an amount not to exceed $25,000 to conduct the current
recruitments.
Section 2.

Section 3. The Mayor is authorized to execute an agreement approved to form

Section 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
