A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SEND OUT REQUEST
FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE WATER SYSTEM BIOTERRORISM
VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT STUDY
WHEREAS, the Bioterrorism Act of 2002 requires the City to enhance the water sector
security and to develop response measures for potential bioterrorism and other threats
to the water system; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is subject to this requirement; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to send out request for proposals for the Water System
Bioterrorism Vulnerability Assessment Study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood as
follows:
Section 1: That staff is authorized to send out request for proposals for the Water
System Bioterrorism Vulnerability Assessment Study.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
