A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE CARLIN AVE. (LONG BEACH TO BULLIS), PALM AVE.
(LONG BEACH TO BULLIS), AGNES AVE. (LONG BEACH TO SCHOOL) AND
PEACH ST. (CARLIN TO SOUTHERLY CITY LIMIT), STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 05-5299, AS BEING COMPLETE."
WHEREAS, on December 7, 2004, the City Council awarded a contract to
Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors; and
WHEREAS, the project started on February 1, 2005, and was completed
on April 15, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the final payable construction cost is $ 276,266.57; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the final inspection on May 5, 2005 and found
that all work has been completed in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Lynwood City Council DOES HEREBY FIND,
PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council accepts the Carlin Ave., Palm
Ave., Agnes Ave. and Peach St. Street Improvement Project, Project No. 05-
5299, as being complete and in accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
